Beautiful white mortar made of Carrara white marble and pestle in wood perfect to pound salt, herbs, spices or nuts. Obtained from one sole block of marble, made in Italy with marble coming from Carrara quarries. The mortar has very antique origins and is commonly used in Italy to prepare the Genovese Pesto, it is also perfect to realize walnut, almond and pine nut sauces or to pound Indian or African spices.
