Masahiro kitchen knives Series MV-H and MSC are made of original Masahiro stainless steel; MBS-26 (carbon content 0.85-0.95%) and the blade of the MBS-26 knife is treated by 3 heating processes:
- tempering
- treatment below zero
- the discovery
The stainless steel blades become incredibly tempered with HRC from 58 to 59.
Each blade of the knife is sharpened to the perfect edge by craftsmen with over 30 years of experience and you will find a sharp edge that will allow you to make incredible cuts.
The handle of the MV-H series is made of POM which is extraordinarily resistant, and antibacterial, which keeps the knife very hygienic in everyday use.
The handle of the MSC knife is made of laminated reinforced wood impregnated with resin to improve durability and water resistance. It also contains an antibacterial agent that is effective against Escherichia coli.
